Kessler & Kin

Kessler & Kin is a strategic advisory practice that partners with mission-driven organizations — largely in public service, program development, and community partnership work — to strengthen systems, support implementation, and improve alignment where it matters most. The brief called for something that felt more like an executive advisory firm than a typical consultancy site: calm, editorial, and confident enough to hold its own with the institutions it serves. I built the site around a quiet, high-contrast palette and an elegant serif display type, letting the founder's own presence — not a wall of service tiles — carry the front page. Structure stayed deliberately lean: a clear point of view on the home page, an About section that establishes credibility, an Offerings page that lays out how engagements work, and a direct path to start a conversation. No blog, no gallery, no noise — just a fast, accessible site that gets a prospective partner from curious to reaching out. Kessler & Kin is a good example of matching design restraint to the client: sometimes the most effective site is the one that gets out of the way and lets the work speak.
